Description

You will be helping attorneys all over Texas set up new businesses for their clients. What we do is help draft, file, and retrieve legal documents for them.
Working in our office on-site, you'll be trained in liaison work with agencies and courts as well as in creating legal documents with Mac FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Word.

Other typical administrative tasks include speaking with law firm folks, answering questions, filing, occasional errands to nearby state agencies, copying, emailing, faxing, scanning, and writing and editing reference manual entries.

Pay

$18 per hour (full-time). $17 per hour (part-time).

Hours

Full-time (32-40 hours per week) between hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm; Part-time (at least 18 hours per week) starting at 8:30 am if working mornings, otherwise till 5:30 pm.

Required

We are looking for a bright person who is glad to pitch in and assist where needed, is adept with people and details, and has excellent spoken and written English. A four-year degree or some college is preferred. Academic achievements (grades, test scores, honors), writing ability and interest, and work achievements are very important to us.

Most errands are short trips to nearby state agencies to file and retrieve documents and act as liaison with those agencies. You need to be over age 19, with your own reliable insured car and a good driving record. You will receive extra mileage pay per trip.
